Went to see Tom Stade last night at the City Rooms. The venue was fantastic, it was like being at the Edinburgh Fringe with different shows going on in different rooms and people meeting up between shows in the bar. It had a festival feel that made you want to go and see something else as soon as you came out. It is so much fun seeing comedy in smaller venues like this, really recommend it. Tom Stade was great, really enjoyed his show.

Off to see Milton Jones on Thursday, can't wait.

Best Comedy Festival yet. Love all the small venues everywhere. Do stick with the City Rooms, much the best, buzzy base yet. Not yet made it to the Late 'n Live 12-3am session, tonight maybe.

Surprise standout for me so far has been Stefano Paolini, but also
James Sherwood
Al Pitcher
Matt Hollins (Could do with some more new material though)
Vince Atta
Hans Teeuwen (although 90 mins was a bit too long)
